The Texas Physical Therapy Association is passionate about patient access. TPTA feels strongly, as do many consumers, that patients should have the right to directly access a physical therapist in Texas for evaluation AND treatment. Directly accessing PT services is shown to save time and money, something our healthcare system desperately needs.
The mission of the Texas Physical Therapy Association is to improve the health and well-being of people in Texas by advancing physical therapist practice.
